This is a unique characteristic of velour and velvet-like surfaces, also known as the "velour writing effect". The soft pile tilts in different directions, causing light and shadows to vary. Children love to make car tracks or create patterns with their fingers. After smoothing, everything is flat again. The effect does not impact the softness, quality, or durability.

Absolutely! Our playmats can be safely washed on a delicate cycle at 30°C, with low spin, little detergent, and no fabric softener. Wash the mat separately and let it dry flat. Not suitable for tumble drying, dry cleaning, bleaching, or ironing.

For normal maintenance, regular vacuuming on a low suction setting is sufficient. Small stains are best removed as soon as possible with a slightly damp cloth or mild carpet cleaner. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents. Wash only when necessary – the less you wash, the better for its lifespan.

Yes. Our playmats are CE and EN71 compliant and tested for child safety. The PVC studs are phthalate-free and fully comply with applicable European safety standards.

As with any PVC product, plasticizers are used to make the material flexible. Important:

Our playmats are produced in factories that comply with international labor safety standards. The mats are made of 100% polyester with a long lifespan and are machine washable at 30°C.

You choose the size and send us the name, photo, or message. We will incorporate this into a unique carpet. Delivery time is 10–14 days.

Yes! For shops, schools, municipalities, and brands, we create unique playmats with your design. Minimum order of 80 pieces per design. Contact us for a quote.

No, personalized products cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.

Free returns are possible within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging. Send an email to info@matsjoy.com to request a return.

Send a photo to info@matsjoy.com within 48 hours. We will then send a replacement product as soon as possible.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned package.
